President– Josephine McEntee-Jo McEntee is a teaching artist in Chicago Public Schools and Lead Museum Educator at Smart Museum of Art. As a woman of color, Jo believes in the transformative power of art which is evidenced in her multidisciplinary (literary, visual, culinary and performance) artistic practice. Jo is the founder and curator of Writers Workshop, which is dedicated to elevating voices in vulnerable communities. She is Illinois Humanities 2019 recipient of the EJ Hendricks Outstanding Alumna Award for commitment to lifelong learning and dedication to strengthening community.

Vice President– Eugenia Camacho-Eugenia A. Camacho is a Retired Administrative Assistant with many years’ experience in the corporate world. She enjoys volunteering in her community. She would like to see Mammoth Sunflowers planted throughout the world. One of the benefits of the Mammoth Sunflowers is that they help clean the air and she feels that it may help the population’s health.

Treasurer-Jill LeCesne Potter – is an arts administrator with a demonstrated history of programming across a broad sector of
learning environments. Her work has led to the successful expansion of arts opportunities for young people
through strategic partnership building with cultural and educational institutions, and community-based
organizations. A native New Orleanian, Jill believes in the vibrant spirit of community to cultivate relationships
that build empathy, offering greater insight of ourselves, others, and the world around us. She is rooted in a
commitment to working with artists to create transformative spaces that generate critical dialogue at the
intersection of art and social justice.

Secretary– Jason Pallas-Jason Pallas is an artist, archivist, curator, and educator primarily concerned with projects at the intersection of the personal, the popular, and the political. In addition to his work as Manager of Community Engagement and Arts Learning at the Smart Museum of Art, his other projects include the Teen Creative Agency at MCA Chicago and the Institute for Encyclopedic Amalgamation. He earned a MFA from the University of Chicago and BA degrees from Rice University.
